Inside Our Quality Inspection
Quality inspection at GESHINE is not a final checkbox — it is a pipeline gated by ISO 9001:2015 procedures that begins the moment a material lot arrives at the Wuhan facility and ends with the Factory Acceptance Test data travelling to site with the analyzer.
Three-stage inspection flow
Each stage has defined entry and exit criteria. An analyzer cannot move to the next stage until the records for the current one are closed — the pipeline enforces discipline, not just the auditor.
Incoming QC
Material & sub-assembly verification
- Laser diode & photodetector lot acceptance with wavelength-stability check
- Optical cell and window transmission measurement
- Electronic board incoming inspection + firmware lot verification
- Enclosure fit & ingress-protection pre-verification
In-Process Inspection
Assembly, alignment, and calibration
- Optical alignment and path-length verification (Herriott or single-pass)
- Thermal and PID auto-tune validation per platform
- Signal-processing firmware flash + checksum verification
- Multi-point calibration against certified span gas
Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
End-of-line acceptance per product spec
- Linearity ≤ ±1% FS (ZS8100-H2O bench TDLAS, ZS8300 in-situ Ex-proof)
- Zero & span drift ≤ ±1% FS / week
- Response-time verification (T90)
- Ingress-protection validation (IP55 for extractive, IP67 for in-situ)
FAT thresholds reflect documented ZS8300 (in-situ Ex-proof) and ZS8100-H2O (bench-top TDLAS) technical specifications. Product-specific criteria are stated on each analyzer data sheet.
Beyond the three stages: Ex-proof and functional safety
For analyzers deployed in hazardous-area or safety-function duty, the standard pipeline is reinforced with a compliance layer. These are distinct commitments — explosion-proof design, functional-safety assessment, and traceable calibration — not synonyms.
Ex db IIC T6 Gb
ZS8300 and other Ex-rated project-reviewed in-situ analyzers are designed and tested per GB/T 3836.1 and GB/T 3836.2 explosion-proof requirements for Zone-classified gas atmospheres.
SIL2 Functional Safety
Safety-rated models in the Ex-proof line carry an IEC 61508-style functional-safety assessment, so the safety function survives a random hardware fault to the documented probability.
Calibrated Reference Chain
Zero and span gases used in FAT carry lot numbers and expiry dates traceable to the inspection record of the unit under test.
Four answers procurement and compliance teams ask first
Can I see the FAT data for my specific serial number?
Yes. The qualification package on request includes the FAT sheet for each analyzer serial number, with the linearity, drift, and response-time measurements logged during end-of-line acceptance.
What changes when the unit is Ex-proof?
Ex-proof units add enclosure-build verification (GB/T 3836.1 / 3836.2), hot-surface temperature validation, and ingress-protection validation to the standard three-stage pipeline. Safety-rated variants add a separate SIL2 functional-safety assessment.
How long does the pipeline take?
Standard stock analyzers complete the pipeline in our production rhythm; configurable and custom analyzers add alignment and calibration time proportional to scope. Lead times are confirmed per order.
Can your QC plan be audited by our team?
Yes. Procurement and EHS audits are welcome on-site in Wuhan, and the quality system documentation (ISO 9001:2015 scope) is shared under NDA as part of the qualification package.
Auditing us? Specifying a unit? Ask for the inspection records.
The qualification package includes the FAT sheet, QC workflow, and safety-layer evidence for the exact models you are considering.
