1. Scope of This Notice

This notice describes how Wuhan Zhisheng Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. (operating as GESHINE) handles information collected through the website geshine.com.

It covers visitors, request-for-quotation submissions, and general business inquiries made through the website. It does not cover contractual data handling that takes place after a project agreement is signed — in that case, the terms of the executed contract between GESHINE and the customer organization govern.

2. Information We Collect

Information you submit directly: name, company, business email, business phone, country, industry, target gas / application, and any additional message content provided through forms such as Request a Quote, Contact, or Request Product Catalog.

Information collected automatically in standard server logs: IP address, user agent, referring URL, requested pages, and timestamps.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) also processes page views and interactions, session information, referral information, approximate location, and browser and device information. GA4 uses a first-party identifier stored in the _ga cookie to distinguish browsers. Google states that an IP address may be used to derive approximate location before it is discarded rather than logged by GA4.

3. How We Use This Information

To respond to inquiries, prepare quotations, and deliver requested product documentation.

To maintain a record of business communications in line with reasonable commercial practice.

To protect the website against abuse, debug errors, and improve the quality of published content.

If you accept analytics cookies, to understand aggregate website use and improve site navigation, performance, and content. This site configuration disables Google advertising signals and ad-personalization signals.

4. Legal Basis

For most website interactions the basis is legitimate interest in operating a business-to-business channel for industrial gas-analyzer inquiries.

Where applicable, submission of a form constitutes consent for GESHINE to contact you regarding the subject of your submission. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to the contact email in §10.

Optional GA4 analytics is based on your consent. The analytics tag is not loaded unless you select Accept in the cookie notice.

5. Cookies and Server Logs

The website uses essential cookies required for site and consent-choice behavior. Standard server-side logs capture request metadata as described in §2.

GA4 is optional. If you select Accept, the site loads Google’s analytics tag and GA4 may set first-party cookies including _ga. If you select Decline or have not made a choice, the analytics tag is not loaded. The current tag configuration denies advertising storage and disables Google advertising and ad-personalization signals.

6. Sharing With Third Parties

GESHINE does not sell information collected through the website.

Information may be processed by service providers that support the operation of the website — for example, hosting, email delivery, and anti-abuse protection. These providers are engaged only to the extent required to operate the site and are bound by their own confidentiality terms.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google LLC processes analytics information as the provider of GA4. For details, see Google’s description of GA4 data collection and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or legal process.

7. Retention

Inquiry records are retained for as long as the underlying business relationship or inquiry is active, and for a reasonable additional period thereafter in line with ordinary commercial record-keeping.

Server logs are retained for a limited period appropriate to security and debugging needs, then routinely discarded.

GA4 event and user-level data, when collected with consent, are retained according to the retention setting configured in the GA4 property and Google’s applicable policies.

8. Your Rights

You can ask GESHINE to confirm whether we hold information about your submission, correct information that is inaccurate, or delete information that we no longer have a legitimate need to retain.

To make a request, write to the contact email in §10 with enough detail to identify the relevant submission. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

You can decline analytics in the cookie notice. To change a previous choice, clear the site cookies for geshine.com and choose again when the notice reappears. You may also use Google’s browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

9. International Handling

Information submitted through the website is handled primarily in the People’s Republic of China, where GESHINE operates.

Where a cross-border element exists — for example, an overseas customer submitting a request — information is handled only for the purpose of responding to that request and conducting the resulting business relationship.

If you accept analytics cookies, analytics information may be processed by Google in countries where Google or its service providers operate, subject to Google’s data-handling terms and safeguards.
